i'm making a lot of blogs tonight, but i promise this'll be my last!
i was thinking while brushing my teeth why people always blur out their license plates when posting their cars on the internet. because like... license plates numbers are pretty easily accessible in the real world. do people do this purely so you don't associate a license plate number with this person on the slight chance that you may one day encounter a car with this plate on the streets? or is there a more serious security measure that i'm unaware of? i mean, i blur out my plates too, but only because i want to be hip to the jive.
did anyone else eat this in its short-lived run?
i was looking at wikipedia pages for cereals tonight and saw this and freaked out because i had totally forgotten about its existence until now. ![]() the box proportions on this is weird, but that was the art! "The cereal consisted of sweetened corn squares that all looked the same, but were meant to be filled with a fruity filling; either cherry, orange or grape. Additionally, some pieces didn't have any filling at all. The surprise of finding out what was in each piece was the cereal's gimmick, though clever children would have little difficulty noticing the pattern: pieces with a seam very close to the edge were grape, off-center orange, and directly center seams had cherry. Hidden Treasures became unavailable by 1995."
i got one a while back to back up an old computer and i was going to sell, and now i'm using it to back up my art files periodically.
i think it might be fragmented, though? because it's reaaaally slow to access or put files in, and it freezes a lot. which worries me, because i... need these files. does anyone know if you can defrag an external hard drive on a mac? does it risk hurting the files on it? i'm guessing the files on my old computer were all fragmented and that's why it's screwy.
today is the annual thanksgiving dinner at work, and the entire office smells like turkey and stuffing. soo hungry.
what's your favorite thanksgiving food item? do you have any unusual ones? i've always loved stuffing.. it's so, so unhealthy.
because my pal, meg hunt, is selling some awesome pillows she designed/had printed/then sewed up on her etsy! they are so so cool!
![]() the fabric: ![]() design: ![]() THEY ARE SOLD OUT NOW! but she's wondering if anyone would be interested if she reprinted them/made some more. please comment if so!!
i dare you

for some reason it sounds awkward to me:
"Click on an icon below to view a type of map of the United States!" which then shows options like: US: Physical US: Political US: Climate etc like, there's too much usage of the word "of", or something. is there another way to write this that is either as or less wordy as this? it needs to be able to fit horizontally on one line. or is it fine as is? thank you!
if so, you must remember.
i've put together a little music mix for my friend will bryant's blog, porch of the mystics. there was some uploading problems so it had to be taken down momentarily but...
